Now that we have your attention, let’s talk about Valentine’s Day. If there ever was the perfect movie to cuddle to during this season, you bet The Notebook is on the list. But, we’re all about creativity. So here’s our take to relive the plot of Hollywood’s best romantic movie with stock images.
Valentine’s Day with Stock Photography and The Notebook

This is the beginning of The Notebook itself, with Noah reading to Allie. There’s something about old couples and how it makes our heart skip a beat every time we see them.

Attending fun fairs are always fun (see what we did there). After all, cotton candy and carousels are always a win-win combination. So did you bump into your Noah at the carnival too?

Now this abandoned family home may not be the stuff of dreams, however in Noah we trust.

This is The Notebook taking a leaf out of our daily lives; a rich, tea sipping, scones eating chic who is forbidden to fall in love with the scruffy, lower-class teenage boy.

Ouch, the dreaded break-up. So off Allie goes, leaving town, heartbroken, with bittersweet memories of her innocent summer love.

Hence, this sparks the start of the letters from Mr Right to Mrs Right, as he refuses to simply let go. It’s the kind of old school gesture which even Taylor Swift would approve of, unless of course your would-be mother-in-law decides to hide these letters.

Parents are sometimes under the illusion that your best fit lies in having someone who shares the same bank balance as you. So out go the hamburgers, diet coke and the wild Noah Calhoun, and in comes the foie gras, champagne and the suave Lon Hammond.

Warning! Plot twist ahead: Allie’s first love suddenly reappears in her life. And boy, does this hit her hard, as she begins to question what her heart desires. Therefore, leading to a trip down memory lane, back to where it all began.

You can’t help it, can you? They say the first love is impossible to forget. Noah and Allie are an exact testament to this, as a small meetup, leads to love being rekindled. Because on the end, if you’re a bird, I’m a bird.

Here’s a little something to shake up the entire plot: Imagine finding out that all these years, your mom has been hiding letters of your first love! Will Allie forget Lon and return to Noah?

Fast forward to the current time, and here you have Noah and Allie, lying together, until their last breath. So if Romeo and Juliet seems too old to evoke your emotions and leave you in tears, The Notebook surely will leave you in awe of what is the best romantic movie since the 2000s. So all you fans of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, can go cry in a corner now.
