How to Switch Existing Approved Files to Free License

If you have previously accepted content that you'd like to put into the free section, here's how to do it.

  1. You can now switch the license type of existing accepted photos and vector illustrations to “Free”. First, locate your content in “Manage Content” on the left panel of your dashboard.

  2. Click on the Accepted tab.

  3. Select a file that you would like to offer free (or select multiple files by clicking on the checkbox on the files).

  4. On the right panel, click on the Pencil icon to edit the file(s).

  5. Click on the slider bar or click on “Free” on the license type. (Note: once you have submitted your image for free, it cannot be reversed.)

  6. Click on “Save” to save changes to these files. Your files are now displayed as free in your portfolio.

NOTE: Once a file has been marked as free, you won't be able to revert it back into a non-free mode. The only way to do that is to DELETE the free file and re-upload it back into 123RF, so do be careful.
