The works of creative artist Beeple – also known as Mike Winkelmann – can be said to be pretty out there. To be honest, his graphic renders seem to come from another much, much cooler Earthsphere, and most likely to be voted the top of the list of The Supercalifragilistic Crazy Talented – we made that up, but it probably exists on another planet. Definitely probably.
A graphic designer from Charleston, USA, Mike has managed to successfully sweep us off our feet, just by doing what he does. Don’t believe us? Check out creative everyday renders by Beeple. With a strong focus on sci-fi and abstract, this artist has been creating digital art on a daily basis for the past 11 years, mostly in Cinema 4D. He’s currently on his 12th round, using mainly Octane.
One of the originators of the current “everyday” movement in 3D graphics, he has been creating a picture everyday from start to finish and posting it online for over ten years without missing a single day. — Beeple.com
We’re rolling on the ground in awe. Of course, we’re also simultaneously clutching our phones and scrolling through his entire Instagram feed, which is amazing, by the way. Several of his short films have been continuously featured on Vimeo’s Top Staff Picks. Beeple has also had a hand in crafting creative concert visuals for artists like Imagine Dragons, deadmau5, Nicki Minaj, Eminem, and Justin Bieber. Some of the brands he’s worked with are Adobe, Apple, Coca-Cola, Nike, Sony Pictures and Samsung.
And if that’s not enough, Beeple creates free VJ loops in packs or individual downloads on his website, all released under the creative commons license. You just have to check out his endless collection of creative visuals that never fail to leave us inspired, and also with little cartoon hearts spinning in our eyes.
