Grab your lightsabers ready for May 4th, the day when Star Wars fans across the galaxy unite to pay tribute to their favorite franchise.

From epic lightsaber duels to edge-of-the-seat plot twists, the thrilling moments of Star Wars have captured the hearts of millions of fans worldwide.

And what better way to celebrate than by reliving some of the most memorable quotes that have echoed across the galaxy?

From the sage wisdom of Yoda to the quirkiness of C-3PO, each character — no matter how big or small — has left their mark with at least one unforgettable line.

Let’s journey to a galaxy far, far away and revisit some of the most iconic quotes of the Star Wars franchise with their Lego minifigures!

May the Force be with us all!

Luke Skywalker

"These aren't the droids you're looking for"

“I have a very bad feeling about this.”

Yes, the classic line that comes up so often in the franchise that it gives fans a chuckle.

But the line first appears in A New Hope, when Luke and Han are attempting to rescue Princess Leia, who was being held captive at the Death Star.

In a way, this line has become synonymous with impending danger and acts as a precursor to adventure and conflict.

Yoda

Members of the High Council

“Do or do not. There is no try.”

In The Empire Strikes Back, Yoda imparted this nugget of wisdom when Luke was struggling to lift his X-Wing fighter from the murky swamp.

Yoda tells Luke to use the Force instead of his physical strength. When Luke replies with “I’ll try,” Yoda responds with a twinkle in his eye and a wry smile, "Do or do not. There is no try."

This quote has transcended its original context to become a catchphrase for anyone who refuses to settle for mediocrity.

So the next time you're facing a challenge, channel your inner Yoda.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

“Hello there.”

Trust Obi-Wan to lighten up the mood.

This famous line is uttered during a vengeful scene in Revenge of the Sith as Obi-Wan confronts General Grievous.

Despite the seriousness of the situation, Obi-Wan's cheeky greeting has become a fan favorite.

In fact, the line has become so popular that it has been used in countless memes, parodies, and remixes.

Princess Leia Organa

“Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope.”

It’s hard to overstate the significance of this line in the Star Wars franchise.

Not only did this iconic line set up the plot of A New Hope, but also established Princess Leia’s plea for help as a sign of her bravery and desperation to save her people.

After being captured by the Empire, she manages to hide the plans for the Death Star in R2-D2 and sends him on a mission to find Obi-Wan.

Then in a holographic message, she pleads for Obi-Wan's help.

C-3PO… and R2-D2

“My parts are showing? Oh, my goodness, oh!”

C-3PO’s response in The Phantom Menace when RD-D2 points out that his cyborg covering has been removed is a perfect representation of his character's quirky and anxious personality.

Fluent in over 6,000 languages (including R2-D2 language), C-3PO is probably most fluent in making endearing one-liners that send the Star Wars fandom into a chuckle.

It's a great moment that showcases the unique friendship between the two droids.

Darth Vader

“No, I am your father!” or as some fans like to remember it — “Luke, I am your father!”

During a climactic lightsaber battle with Luke Skywalker in The Empire Strikes Back, Darth Vader (formerly known as Anakin Skywalker) confronted Luke with the shocking revelation that he is indeed, Luke’s father.

The next scene showed Luke ugly screaming in denial. I guess what Obi-Wan said about Darth Vader betraying and murdering Luke’s father was true in a way.

Anyway, this curveball has become one of the most famous plot twists and memorable moments in cinematic history, sending the Star Wars fandom into a frenzy.

Anakin Skywalker

“Something's happening. I'm not the Jedi I should be. I want more. And I know I shouldn't.”

Ah, young Anakin. This poignant quote perfectly encapsulates his inner turmoil and his struggle with being a Jedi.

Anakin couldn't help but feel that there was more to life than following the rules and restrictions of the Jedi Order.

He yearned for power and recognition, but he also knew that these desires were dangerous.

Ultimately, it led to his downfall.

Stormtroopers

“Look, sir. Droids!”

Yet another iconic quote from a scene in A New Hope, this time it’s the Stormtroopers blatantly restating the obvious.

As they're patrolling, they spot R2-D2 and C-3PO and alert their commanding officer with the now-iconic line, “Look, sir. Droids!”

Not the brightest bunch, but Star Wars wouldn’t be Star Wars without these dimwitted troopers.

Kylo Ren

“Your son is gone. He was weak and foolish like his father, so I destroyed him.”

This happened in The Force Awakens right before he killed his father Han Solo.

Sounds familiar? It’s exactly what Darth Vader said about killing his Anakin Skywalker self before submitting to being the menacing villain.

Seems like Kylo Ren was taking notes from Darth Vader’s playbook.

Han Solo

“Get in there, you big furry oaf! I don’t care what you smell.”

Typical Han, puts himself in dangerous situations but diffuses them with humor.

When Han said those words in A New Hope, it was he tells Chewbacca to slide into a garbage chute to flee from the enemy.

When Chewbacca warns that it stinks, Han tells him to ignore it and jump in anyway.

Chewbacca

“AAAGGGWARRRHHWWWW!”

While Chewbacca doesn't speak English, his growls and roars have grown to be one of the most recognizable sounds in the Star Wars franchise.

Always expressive and full of emotion, our beloved Wookie warrior’s close bond with Han Solo is also one of the most heartwarming relationships.

Truth: We just desperately wanted to include this fuzzball in the blog.
